As reported earlier this month in our iQue news post, Nintendo plans to release a new console in China. The console comes in form of a controller directly connected to a TV and it works with Flash Cards. Those can be loaded with games at docking stations in partner outlets, or thru online downloads.

We have been informed by iQue of China earlier this week that the console will unfortunately not be released at October 22nd as initially announced by Nintendo at the TGS. Check back later to stay informed on the topic. It's expected that the console plays converted SNES and N64 games, definitely an interesting buy for collectors.

Pre-orders for the console are still being accepted, the release date has been changed accordingly.
